Each year the Greatfield Residents Association gets together for a summer picnic, to socialise along with friends and neighbours in the lovely setting of Brampton Park. This year’s event celebrated our sixth anniversary and was a great success, well attended by guests of all ages (and some canine friends too!). And what’s more, we were blessed with glorious sunshine!
All GRA members and their invited friends and neighbours are welcome, and all guests contribute to the picnic. There was a wonderful spread, laid out beside the Rainbow Centre, with a particularly good selection of tasty salads and desserts. Everyone then retired to chat and mingle under gazebos, with the exception of a few keen cricketers and frisbee players! There was also the chance to meet several of our local Councillors, who had kindly joined us, and with whom the GRA fosters strong relations.
We would like to thank everyone who helped make this year’s picnic such a great success. We hope that next year you’ll be joining us!
